MentalNote Version 1.1.0 | Dark Mode and Note Refinement

3/9/2025

We’re excited to announce the release of MentalNote version 1.1.0! This update introduces two new features designed to improve your experience and make the application even more useful for your practice.

Dark Mode Now Available

The new ‘Dark Mode’ offers several benefits for clinicians:

  • Reduced eye strain during extended documentation sessions

  • Lower battery consumption on laptops

  • Improved focus during late night documentation

Enabling Dark Mode is simple—just navigate to your Account Settings and check the "Enable Dark Mode" option. The change takes effect immediately across the entire application.

Additional Comments Box for Note Creation

Creating clinical documentation that perfectly captures your therapeutic approach is now easier with our new Additional Comments feature. When generating documents, you'll now find a comment box that allows you to:

  • Provide context about specific patient circumstances

  • Highlight treatment approaches you'd like emphasized

  • Note important themes from the session that should be included

  • And whatever else you think is important!

This enhancement gives you more control over how MentalNote processes and structures your documentation, resulting in notes that better reflect your clinical insights and therapeutic approach.

We’re continuously working to make MentalNote the most effective tool for mental health professionals. As always, I value your feedback and suggestions for future improvements. Update to version 1.1.0 and start enjoying these new features now!
